Explanations on how to use TR Index criteria related to Ethical rules are given below;
The articles related to the Code of Ethics included in the criteria in the past years, were detailed with explanations in 2020, and the issue of “providing information about the permission in the article” was added to the criteria and assuming that the permissions were already obtained for the studies requiring ethics committee permission.
However, as it is understood from the feedback, detailed information about the Ethics Committee Permits is also needed. For this reason, a comprehensive study will be shared later on the TR Directory website and will be announced to you.

The issue of compliance with publication ethics should not only be left to the responsibility of the authors, but the path to be followed regarding the publication ethics should be clearly defined.
In the articles to be published in the journals, it should be stated in the article whether the ethical committee permit and / or legal / special permission should be obtained. If these permits are required, it should be clearly presented from which institution, on which date and with which decision or number number the permission was obtained.
If the study requires the use of human and animal test subjects, it should be declared that the study was carried out in accordance with international declaration, guidance etc.
Compliance with the Helsinki Declaration Principles is mandatory in all clinical study.
In such studies, the authors are expected to state that they conducted the study in the method section in accordance with the principles, and that ethical councils and other persons participating in the study received "informed consent form".
In experimental animal studies, authors should protect animal rights and obtain ethical committee approval in accordance with the principles of Laboratory Animals Care and Use Guide. (http: //www. nap.edu/catalog/5140.html).
