In vicinity of Elazığ, 17 lambs and 3 kids with pneumonia were examined. Macroscopically, the foci of pneumonia in lugs were voluminous or collapsed according to the nature and duration of the disease. Histological changes were oedema, hyalin membranes, epithelisation in alveoli and lympho- histiocytic proliferation in the interalveolar tissues. On the other hand, macrophages established in some alveoli and bronchioli. Bacteriologically, Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp. and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were observed.
