A case of spondylitis ossificans in a dog was reported. The dog was six years old, and had paraplegia in the hind limbs. In radiographical examination, the ossified bridges among the vertebral bodies in the lumbosacral area were seen. Upon the consent of the owner, because the treatment was impossible the animal was euthanesied.
