In this study, effects of in ovo given, various doses of aflatoxin B1 on the chicken hatching weight was investigated. For this purpose, a total of 360 fertilized layer hen's eggs were used. The eggs were divided into 6 groups each having 60 eggs as, controls, drilled-sealed, ETOH, 5 ngAFBi/egg, 7.5 ngAFBi/egg and 10 ngAFBi/egg. Chick hatching weights of the in AFBi given groups declined in a dose dependent manner. Similar decrease pattern was also observed in relative embriyo weight values of the groups.
