| Determination of HCN levels in feeds |

In this study, HCN levels in the 30 grains and 13 feeds obtained from different regions were investigated. The HCN levels in the samples were co-lorimetrically determined the oxidation of cyanide by N-chlorosuccinimide ■ succinimide and coupling of barbituric acid-pyridine. Absorbances were measured at 580 mm. HCN levels in the samples ranged from 0.14 to 48.96 ppm.
