Abstract | |
Veterinarians, who are very familiar with coronaviruses,
have responsibilities in the protection of animal health and
public health, as well as in vaccine, serum, and biological material
studies, which are methods of combating the Coronavirus.
In the study, it has been aimed to reveal the role and importance
of veterinarians in epidemics and the services they
provide in such situations specific to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It can be said that the veterinarians have much information
and experience gained after years of experience in combatting
epidemic animal diseases, and therefore, to protect
animal health and public health, it should be acknowledged
that veterinarians have a very important role in all stages of
the pandemic and corresponding health policies should be
developed. |
