The expression of p53 protein was investigated in three ocular squamous cell carcinomas of one horse and two cows by an immunohistochemical (Avidin-Biotin immunperoksidaz Complex-ABC) procedure using anti-human p53 protein mouse monoclonal antibodies. Positive p53 nuclear immunostaining was detected in only equine case.
