Angiolipoma of Inguinal Region in a Dog

This report describes a case of angiolipoma in a 14 year-old female Papillon dog. Tumour was localized solitary under the skin ofthe inguinal region next to the right inguinal mammary gland. The mass was 6x2.5x2cm in size, weighed 15.21 g and ellastic in consistency with smooth appearance on the external surface. The cut surface of the tumour exhibited multilobulated appearance with gray to dark brown areas with surrounded by a thin capsule. In the microscopic examination, the tumourwas composed ofvarious sizes and thin-walled blood vessels randomly distributed throughout of well differentiated adipose tissue. According to microscopic results of the tumour was diagnosed as a angiolipoma.
