| Some characteristics of testis in Morkaraman yearling-male lamb and ram |

This study was carried out on 4o Morkaraman lambs and on 24 mature Morkaraman rams at Altmdere State Farm, Van
The testis measurements as testis diamater and length, scrotal circumference and scrotal length in yearling-male lambs were 3.65±0.06, 7.38±0.15, 21.52±0.34 and 10.20±0.21 cm, respectively and in rams were 4.46±0.10, 8.92±022, 25.12±0.39 and 11.12±0.22 cm. respectively. All testis measurements were seen to be affected by body-weight to a great extent in yearling-male lambs. However, though body-weight in rams affected the testis diamater and scrotal circumference to an important degree i it was found to be unimportant for testis length and scrotal length. |
