A 12-year old German Shepherd, and 3-year old Tenier showed a metastatic pulmoner neoplasia. German Shepherd and Terrier dogs had a mastectomy, 6 and 13 months prior to death, respectively. Pathological investigation revealed malignant mix neoplasm in German Shepherd, and papillar adenocarcinoma in Terrier. Hematologic and biochemistry profiles were within normal limits except the serum calcium level with a slight increase. Dissemination of neoplasm in mediastinal and inguinal lymph nodes showed the possibility of lenphogenic metastasis in German Shephard. On the other hand no dissemination of neoplastic cells in lymph nodes of Terrier suggested the possibility of metastasis to be via venous circulation.
